" Luiz drove us to most of the tourist attractions of Rio and explained each of them. Perhaps the best part was that we also saw a side of Rio that most tourist don't. "I had the good fortune of running into Luiz coincidentally on my first day in Rio. With only a vague idea of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do. Luiz was fantastic in telling us about all of the highlights of Rio - some of wich I had not even heard of. Even after my tour with Luiz, he was constatly available by phone to give to me and my friends bits and pieces of advice, like which clubs were good on certain nights. In my tour he took me to some gorgeous beaches in Rio, which would otherwise have been inaccessible, also up to the Christ and a drive through the surrounding mountains, as well as going out on both nights, firstly to one of the great clubs in town and secondly to a local samba show. As it was only me and two other friends, we could stop when we wanted, see what we wanted and it was more like seeing Rio with a local friend than with a tour guide.
