Capital of carnival, Copacabana Beach and the Christ. Do you think
that is all? Many tourists would say yes, but this is a big mistake.
Rio has much more to see and to do. The nicest beaches, where locals
go, are on the opposite side of Copacabana. They start in a place called
Barra in a point called Pepe (In homage to a very famous Brazilian Hang
Glider), paradise of windsurfers, and also a place where the new generation
and beautiful people go for chitchat, to get a sun tan, to play a game
of frescoball (Brazilian typical game) or to just sit and relax. This
is just the beginning! Macumba, Prainha and Grumari (spots of the surfers
and lovers of nature), make an unforgettable day on the beaches.
That is it? No!! We are just starting, what about hangliding on São
Conrado Beach, or walking in the biggest urban forests in the world,
maybe a short trek with a little of climbing to the Sugar loaf mountain,
for an amazing view of Rio de janeiro and the sunset. Not enough? OK,
let's take our bikes and cycle on the coast cycle way, that includes
Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon Beaches. Or maybe better, a tour of the
"favelas" (slums) or a visit to a "feira", small markets that happen
everyday in a different part of the city.
Do you know that Brasil is more than 500 years old ? So imagine how
much history is in our city. Let yourself go back on time in a wonderfull
historical tour of the city.
Do you still have power for the night? OK, we can take you to the famous
"churrascaria" where all kinds of meats are served and cut on your plate.
You pay a fixed price and eat as much as you can. We also want you to
try some typical brazilian appertizers with the famous drink "caipirinha",
listening to live brazilian music.
Whatever you have in your mind we are going to try our best to do it
for you.
